"My work on corsets expresses an intimate artistic interpretation and offers fertile ground for technical experimentation. I use vintage tea cups and china as a nod to retro undergarments, plus a touch of whimsy. I love searching for quirky materials for these feminine forms such as: a luster gold thrift store tea set; chemistry lab porcelain funnels; vintage drawer pulls; bridal lace; ammo, zippers, pearls; and garter belts.“
